Fine Wine

I always said, “I will age like fine wine.”
I let her age me, with other fine spirits
Isn’t irony a pleasant mistress?
Isn’t she pleasant, just like wine?

Now that I’ve matured I’ve left her behind
I left her with other spirits, as I breathe in time

My spirit feels strong; I feel alive
I was right
“I will age like fine wine”

Fuel

I am blood
I am bone
I am water

My heart is the throttle
My mind is the brake

I’ll take my time
I’ll breathe just fine
I’ll never give up
Until the end of time

Streams

Under that bridge my mind awaits
Our paths connect in perfect harmony

Our thoughts intertwine as we’re connected
In our shared stream of consciousness
We live forever; we live now

Human

I hope
I wonder
I’m human

I love
I hurt
I see

I fear reality
It’s scary; it’s beautiful
It’s nothing
It’s everything

The Wizard

I cast a spell with one mana left.
“It was time to level up.”

Oh, the gold pieces I’ve won.

Where’s a bard when I need one?
I would love a flagon too.

I want to fly a dragon.
I want to fly with you.
